It had been so long since I’ve just beat my face just for the fun of it, and it was great to actually get a chance to! I have been wearing the new No Filter foundation, concealer, primer, loose powder and pressed powder for a few weeks now but haven’t had the time to fully update you guys on my thoughts!
This matte, oil free foundation has a claim to be build able and natural feeling with a blurring feature to help skin appear flawless. For me the formula was definitely everything it claimed to be. It is build able and can go from your skin but better to full coverage with just a few extra pumps or simply by using their foundation brush for application. A huge problem for me and my oily skin is that foundations often break apart when I get oily or literally slide off specific areas like my nose or T-zone. This foundation lasted me a full 8-hour humid summer day with little to no oils peaking through and best of all it didn’t slide off like others do! I’m so impressed with this foundation! Luckily I have a back up , because the only disappointing this was the fact you don’t get a full ounce of product like other foundations. This is definitely going to be a problem for full coverage every day babes, but for the price point its definitely not that bad.
The no filter concealer has claims to be full coverage, long wearing, and matte. This is my second time purchasing this product so I already know my thoughts and that is that this is one BOMB ass concealer! I am a LA Girl Pro Concealer type of girl and have been from the beginning of my makeup journey. It’s affordable, build able, and blends like a dream. The Colourpop concealer is the best version of the LA Girl concealer. Its full coverage, so being build able isn’t an issue, it blends like a dream, it’s affordable, and it has an amazing flexible doe-foot applicator.
This primer claims to be matte and to blur the skin giving a flawless base to foundations. It’s super affordable at $10, just under a full fluid ounce at .88oz, minimizes my pores so well and is the perfect base for my oily babes out there. I’ve noticed that with this primer I do not have to set it to keep matte through the day.
This setting powder is so bomb! I recently received the Laura Mercier setting powder in medium deep and was hooked! I loved it so much! But the main reason I hadn’t tried it yet was price point. It’s not a purchase I can regularly make with a clear conscience. Then I made this purchase and let me tell you I was SHOOK! It’s one of the best loose powders and the shade of the powder was perfect for my skin tone. I can easily compare it to the Laura Mercier powder and that by its self is AMAZING! At $9 i can easily purchase and not have to think twice.
I have never had a pressed powder I’ve loved as much as the Lorel matte pressed powder. My only problem? I could never find my shade in store. I searched and searched and have even to this day only seen my shade in that powder two other times. So this pressed powder was on my wish list when I found out about it. It is an absolute DREAM! It sets my foundation so well, is super affordable and can be build able depending the type of brush you use to apply. I’ve tested this powder to set my face as well as a minimal coverage all over powder on a few no foundation days. I am so impressed with this powder it’s literally perfect to me.
Every base product in Colourpops line is amazing to me, especially with my oily skin!
Have you tried out their full base line? Thoughts?
